Ugonna Okorie

Ugonna Okorie is a dedicated public health professional with a focus on healthcare policy and equity. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health, with a minor in Healthcare Management, from the University of Louisville, where she served as Student Body President and as the Student Constituency Representative on the University's Board of Trustees. During her undergraduate studies, Ugonna gained experience as a summer intern with Beaumont Health and as a COVID-19 Contact Tracing Specialist for UofL’s Department of Environmental Health & Safety. She recently completed her Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) in Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she was inducted into the Delta Omega Honor Society in 2024. Passionate about addressing and eliminating inequities within the healthcare system, Ugonna continues to advocate for policies that promote health equity and social justice.​
